Karl Lagerfeld Tweed Helmet with iPod Pocket

If there are two things designer Karl Lagerfeld loves most in this world, they are luxury and music. The face behind both an eponymous ready-to-wear line and Parisian fashion house Chanel owns upwards of 40 iPods and is constantly shifting from contemporary tunes to classical and back again. So it’s no surprise that the Kaiser incorporated music into Karl Lagerfeld collection FW09. What was shocking were the tweed-covered scooter helmets (equipped with iPod capability) that Lagerfeld created in collaboration with helmet mavens Les Ateliers Ruby and Apple and subsequently sent down the aforementioned catwalk. This Tweed Helmet by Atelier Ruby for Karl Lagerfeld is absolutely Must Have! And I'm not saying I wouldn't rock it (the price tag will surely be out of this world) - but I may need the perfect little motorbike Vespa in leopard print first. The tweed-covered caps are also the perfect accompaniment to All Must Have Items from Kaiser Karl... :) I'm imagine...

Smart dressed in Hermès

In celebration of the Smart Car’s 10-year anniversary Hermès has once again put its own very unique twist on it. With a rather grand unveiling at Paris’ Grand Palais of the Hermès “Fortwo édition Toile” Smart Car. The cars will be produced in the following colours: Ebony, Gold, Charcoal, Orange, H Red, Bright Red, Fuchsia Pink, Indigo, Sky and Lime. The exterior hasn’t really been touched but inside “wow”… There is a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear-shift cover and an interior covered in the Hermes’ signature canvas “toile H.” The Hermès “Fortwo édition Toile” Smart Car sells for €38,000. I want all the colours.... Each colour for each day of the week! I’m spoiled? I’m sure the entire inside smells better than "new car" - it smells like new Hermès leather!

Shoes + sugar = Christian Louboutin Laudrée macaroons!

Spare a thought for the woman who lost one half of her 560€ pair of leopard print Christian Louboutins on a night out. Oh dear. She had only worn them twice and they were of great sentimental value to her. Double oh dear. Whilst she has launched a local search,for her missing shoe, the only consolation I can offer her is to suggest she invest in a limited edition Christian Louboutin Laduree box filled with Laudrée macaroons of course. These boxes are available from September... the shoes on the box are ones that actually do exist.

Chanel Segway

Karl Lagerfeld definitely knows the luxury lifestyle with all his sport accessories, this is his latest design for the rich riders. I’d definitely wouldn’t park this out in the streets! The Chanel Segway is a combination of elegant (Chanel!) and tough (those tires!). As an added bonus, each Chanel Segway comes with a Chanel 2.55 bag … attached to the front, like a bicycle basket.  

Can you imagine Victoria Beckham on Louboutin Heels and with Birkin taking a casual trip through the streets of Paris on this thing?... i'm imagine... :)

Saving the planet is the need of hour. Having realized this, even the eminent fashion houses have something unique on the cards away from designer silhouettes, shoes, leather stuff and other accessories. The newest trend from high-end designers is posh bicycles. To your amaze, fashion houses like: Chanel, Hermès, Gucci and Fendi would be unveiling its designed bicycles to contribute its share towards green vehicles saving our environment.

This kind of on-the-road style doesn't come cheap, of course... Ah! It’s adorable! No more excuses for us, stylish ladies and gentlemen's, to take a taxi or a car to travel through the city! Way to go Chanel, Hermès, Gucci or Fendi!
